Motivated individuals want to go beyond conventional/preventive testing and screening—especially for earlier disease detection, refined risk stratification, and medication optimization. However, even though there are commercially available clinical tests, many Primary Care Providers (PCPs) are understandably constrained by (1) guideline/coverage boundaries, (2) confidence/data gaps and the ever-evolving testing landscape, and (3) uncertainty about downstream actionability and follow-up workflows.

Expanded Molecular Testing
MtM provides an adjunct service for additional testing/analysis beyond what is conventionally offered in primary care. We coordinate third-party commercial testing (some insurance-covered or HSA eligible, some out-of-pocket), including:
- Comprehensive blood biomarkers (100+): Multi-system panels well-beyond routine labs; scientific-wellness cohorts show broader clinical lab panels can uncover actionable signals and stratify health states (PMID: 31068711)
- Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) blood tests (50+ cancers): MCED tests are an emerging technology for cancer screening (PMID: 40170549)
- Inherited genetic testing: Even “high-evidence” genomic applications (e.g., Lynch syndrome) remain inconsistently implemented in routine care due to counseling/time/referral barriers (PMID: 29273311)
- Pharmacogenomics (PGx): Optimizing medications based on individual metabolic profile can improve drug selection/safety by using actionable prescribing guidance (PMID: 25974703)
- Microbiome analysis and characterization: Gut microbiome dysbiosis and alterations are implicated in the pathogenesis of many diseases (PMID: 39347570)

- MtM independently coordinates and schedules third-party commercial/clinical testing
- Results are analyzed and clinically relevant findings are reported with supporting data and suggested confirmatory testing (if needed)
- A prioritized question list and associated health plan designed to fit primary-care workflows is provided to the patient for PCP follow-up
